            Through instant petition, petitioner has alleged harassment by the police at the instance of private respondents. It has been alleged that on account of freewill marriage of petitioner Mst. Saima with Imtiaz Ali Jalbani, the respondent No.1 father of petitioner has managed all false F.I.Rs against the petitioners and her husband and his relatives.

2.         Official Respondents No.2, 3,4,5,6 and 7 have shown appearance and filed comments along with annexures which are taken on record and copies thereof supplied to counsel for the petitioner. As per comments, a number of cases has been registered against the husband of the petitioner and his relatives before different police stations whereas petitioner herself has been nominated in two cases registered at Police Station Rohri. Counsel for the petitioner states that all the cases are false and frivolous and have been registered at the instigation of respondent No.1 and the cousin of petitioner who is serving as DSP in Police Department.

3.         Learned State counsel has produced copy of an order passed in CP No.D-3141 of 2013 passed by a Division Bench of this Court at Karachi which was disposed of with directions that no harassment may be caused to the petitioner  who may be dealt with in accordance with law and the petitioner was further directed to seek appropriate remedy from the concerned court of law, having jurisdiction.

4.         Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will file appropriate proceedings before the competent court of jurisdiction seeking quashment of the F.I.Rs. However, speaks that the police may be directed not to cause any further harassment to the petitioner or her husband and they may not be involved in any further false criminal case. The police officials present in Court state that neither any harassment has been caused nor the police has involved the petitioner in any false cases whereas most of the cases have been registered at the instance of private complainants.

5.         Be that as it may, instant petition is being disposed of with the directions to the official respondents not to cause harassment to the petitioner with particular reference to her matrimonial life whereas police is also directed not to involve the petitioner or her husband in any false case. Petitioner is at liberty file appropriate proceedings before the competent court of jurisdiction for redressal of the grievances in accordance with law.
