The case of the petitioner is that his father was servicing as Secretary Union Council in Local Government Department, who died on 20.9.2004, while performing his duties as Secretary Union Council, Ahmedpur Taluka & District Jacobabad. Being son of the deceased employee of the union council the petitioner has applied to the Secretary, Local Government Department, Government of Sindh on 18.11.2004 for appointment against the deceased son quota copy of application is available at page-17. The respondent No.2 has filed comments with which he has attached no objection certificate issued by Assistant Director Local Government Jacobabad in which the case of the petitioner was recommended for appointment on deceased quota against the vacant post. The application of the petitioner is pending since 2004, which has not been decided by the Local Government Department.

This petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent No.1 to decide the application of the petitioner within three months and if he found eligible for the appointment he may be considered accordingly.
