It was alleged that Tariq Mehmood Hashmi and Rizwan Ali Shah were arrested from their house on 07.12.2012. It was alleged that ANF personnel detained them. Learned counsel appearing for ANF denies the allegations. According to him no case against such persons or against their father Abdul Karim Shah Hashmi is pending under investigation nor he is involved in any crime reported to ANF. It is further stated that Abdul Karim Shah Hashmi is carrying on business under the name and style of Shah Enterprises and he was required only to testify in some of the cases as witness and not as an accused.
Learned counsel for the petitioners informs that both the persons namely Tariq Mehmood Hashmi and Rizwan Ali Shah who were picked up have been released and they are in attendance. They were inquired. It is stated by them that they were released late on 08.12.2012. The petition was also filed on the same date, perhaps before their release. Now they have already returned home safely the purpose of the petition has been served out. Learned counsel for ANF states that if at all Abdul Karim Shah Hashmi or any other of his sons is required in any inquiry a proper notice will be issued and they will not cause any harassment of any nature whatsoever. Since the petition has served out its purpose, accordingly the same is disposed of.
