                        Through this Constitutional Petition, the petitioner Inayatullah Dasti has prayed for the following relief(s):

a)                  That this Honourable Court may graciously be pleased to direct the Respondents to provide the details of complaints/cases if any registered against the Petitioner in District Larkana or in the country.

b)                  To restrain the Respondents from entering into the house of Petitioner, arresting him and his family members and violating the provisions of “Chadar and Chowdeewari” and causing harassment for him and his family.

c)                  To direct the DIG Larkana to conduct an inquiry into the matter and take action according to law against the Respondents No.4 to 8 and DIG Larkana may kindly be further direct to save the petitioner and his family from harassment caused to him at the hands of Respondents No.4 to 8 and to provide proper protection to the life, liberty and property of the Petitioner.

d)                  Award costs of the Petition.

e)                  Any other equitable relief be granted to the Petitioner.

 

            Notices were issued to the respondents as well as Addl.A. G. Comments/Statements were filed by respondents No.1 & 2. SSP, Larkana in his comments has stated that the allegations are false and petitioner has never approached to him. Learned State Counsel submits that every protection as provided in law shall be provided to petitioner. Mr. Habibullah Ghouri submitted that petitioner has been attacked  several times by the private respondents No.4 to 8 but local police has failed to provide protection to the petitioner. In support of his contention he has referred FIR No.246/2012 registered at Police Station Ratodero for offences punishable under section 395, 148, 149, 337-F(i), 342, 109, PPC. In these circumstances, SSP is directed to provide protection to the petitioner as provided in law. SSP shall also submit report regarding safety and security provided to petitioner. I.O of the above said crime shall conduct investigation fairly. In these circumstances, learned advocate for the petitioner does not press this petition more and it is disposed of accordingly.
