========

                         Through instant petition, petitioners have complained   about the harassment  caused by  private respondents and also about  inaction  on the part of the police officials  who, as per petitioner, have failed  to provide legal protection to the petitioners. Learned counsel for petitioners stated that the petitioner NO.2  being sui juris  has entered into valid contract of marriage with petitioner No.1  out of her own free will and without any pressure or coercion, which  has antagonized the parents of petitioner No.2 who are causing harassment to the petitioners.

            Notices were issued to respondents, pursuant to which respondents No.5 to 7  have filed their comments wherein it has been stated that no harassment  whatsoever has been caused by the police officials nor the petitioners  ever approached them seeking protection.   The police officials present in Court further stated  that no case is registered against the petitioners in their jurisdiction.

                        In view of such statement, learned counsel for the petitioners  is satisfied  and stated that he will not press the instant petition provided official respondents  may be directed to provide legal protection to the petitioners.

                        To this submission, learned  Asstt: A.G as well as official respondents  present  in court stated  that all due legal protection will be provided to the petitioners as and when required.

                        In view of the  hereinabove facts, the  instant petition is disposed of.  However official respondents are  directed to provide legal protection to the petitioners  as per law.
