========

                         Through instant petition, petitioners have complained   about the harassment  by  private respondents  as well as in action on the part of  official respondents, who, as per petitioners are not providing legal protection to them.

                        Notices were issued to respondents who have filed their comments.  Learned counsel for the petitioners stated that  the petitioner NO.2,  being sui juris, has entered into a valid contract of marriage with petitioner No.1  out of her own free will and without any pressure or coercion, which  has antagonized the parents of petitioner No.2 who are causing harassment to the petitioners.

            From perusal of comments filed by respondents No.6 and 7, it appears that allegations have been specifically denied and   it has been stated that no harassment  whatsoever  was caused to the petitioners by the police.   The police officials present in Court further stated  that no case is registered against the petitioners about the abduction of petitioner No.2 or in respect of their marriage.

                        In view of such statement, learned counsel for the petitioners  is satisfied  and stated that he will not press the instant petition provided the official respondents  may be directed to provide protection to the petitioners as per law.

                        To this submission, learned  Asstt: A.G as well as official respondents  present  in court stated  that all due legal protection will be provided to the petitioners as and when required.

                        In view of the  hereinabove facts, the  instant petition is disposed of.  However official respondents are  directed to provide legal protection to the petitioners  as per law.
