                        Learned counsel for the petitioner  states that though purpose of filing the instant petition has been achieved whereas  pursuant  to court directions, inquiry  was conducted  into the allegations and as per  inquiry report  available on record dated 02.06.2009,  against one Habib-ur Rehman, SPO Bakrani,  the departmental action has been recommended  for his dishonesty.   Learned counsel states that no further progress regarding  departmental action, as proposed in the inquiry report, has so far been communicated.   Learned counsel further states that he would not  press the instant petition, provided  the directions may be issued  to the DIG Police Larkana Zone to proceed against   Habib-ur Rehman, SPO Bakrani in terms of the findings of inquiry report  proposed by  Anwar Ali Gopang, DSP Headquarter, Shikarpur. 

                        To this submission, learned State Counsel extends  no objection.

                        Accordingly, the instant petition is dismissed as not pressed.  However, with direction  to the learned DIG Police Larkana Zone to submit  progress report in terms of Police Order, 2002 through Additional Registrar of this Court, within 15 days from receipt of this order.
