========

                        Through the instant petition, the petitioner has complained about the highhandedness on the part of the police officers who allegedly raided the house of the petitioner and  deprived him of his valuable articles  as mentioned in the petition.

                        Pursuant to  Court notice, the official respondents have submitted their comments wherein  the allegations  have been specifically denied.  It has been further intimated, as the matter of fact,  the police officials have raided the house of  one Zaiban Buriro who is a criminal and required in several cases including the case of murder,  whereas the petitioner is cultivator  over the lands of said Zaiban Buriro and has made an attempt to save Zaiban Buriro from legal process and legal action.

                        Learned counsel for the petitioner states that such statement of fact is incorrect, as the petitioner has no concern whatsoever with Zaiban Buriro. However, learned counsel further stated that  the petitioner would be satisfied if the  respondents  are directed not to cause any further harassment to the petitioner and his family and return  all the articles  which they have taken away during the raid.

                        To this submission, learned State Counsel submits that since all these allegations have  specifically denied, the claim of the  petitioner is misconceived  and no such  relief can be granted under these constitutional proceedings, however, he extends his no objection if an inquiry is conducted.

                        In view of hereinabove facts and by consent, instant petition is disposed of as not pressed. However, with the direction to the DPO Jacobabad to conduct an inquiry in terms of  Police Order, 2002,  into the allegations contained in the petition against the police officials nominated therein and submit compliance report within 15 days from the receipt of his order through Additional Registrar of this court.

                         Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
