The petitioner has approached this Court alleging highhandedness on the part of the police officials at the instance of respondent No.2. It has been alleged that the respondent No.3 SHO PS Dokri district Larkana raided the house of the petitioner without any lawful excuse and taken away briefcase containing certain documents and cash.

Respondents have filed their comments wherein such allegations have been denied. Learned State Counsel states that instant petition besides being false and frivolous is not maintainable; on the face of it, whereas  respondents have not caused any harassment.

To this submission learned counsel for the petitioner states that he would be satisfied if an impartial enquiry is directed to be conducted against respondent No.1 to verify the allegation contained in the instant petition and further the official respondents be directed not to cause any harassment to the petitioner. To this submission learned State Counsel extends his no objection

Accordingly, the instant petition is disposed of with the direction to the DPO, Larkana to conduct an enquiry into the allegations as contained in the instant petition and if it is found that the police official has violated the law or abused the process of law, action against delinquent police official shall be taken in terms of Police Order 2002. The respondents are further directed not to cause any harassment to the petitioner and shall act strictly in accordance with law. Petition stands disposed of in the above terms along with listed application.
