                        Through instant petition, the petitioner has alleged highhandedness on the part of the official respondents, who as per petitioner have raided the house of petitioner on 17.01.2011, without any lawful excuse; taken away his available articles and cash as mentioned in para 3 of the petition.

 

                        Comments have been filed by the official respondents, who have denied the allegations. It has further been intimated that there are three F.I.Rs registered against the son and other relatives of the petitioner, including F.I.R No.03/2011, under section 365-A, 337-H (2), 148, 149 P.P.C, F.I.R No.06/2011 under section 324, 353, 148, 149 P.P.C and F.I.R                No. 07/2011 under section 324, 353, 148, 149 P.P.C and the police is making efforts to recover the alleged abductee. However, it has been denied that any such incident as alleged by the petitioner ever taken place.

 

                        Learned counsel for petitioner states that he would be satisfied if impartial and independent inquiry is directed to be conducted by some honest police officer against the highhandedness of the respondents, and if they are found guilty, strict action may be directed to be taken against such persons in accordance with law. To this submission the learned State counsel has no objection.

 

                        Accordingly, instant petition is disposed of with the direction to the D.I.G. Police, Larkana, to get an inquiry of the allegations as contained in the petition conducted by some honest police officer in terms of Police Order 2002, and if it is found that the police officials are guilty of the allegations as contained in the petition, strict action in accordance with law shall be taken; whereafter compliance report be submitted to this court through Additional Registrar. The instant petition disposed in the above terms.
