            Through instant petition the petitioner sought protection of her life at the hands of private respondents stating that since petitioner, being sui juris, out of her own freewill has entered into contract of marriage , which antagonized the parents and relatives of the petitioner, who are threatening the petitioner and her husband of dire consequences . Notices were issued to respondents.

            Pursuant to court notices, the private respondents are present in Court and deny all the allegations and further stated that they have been granted pre-arrest bail in F.I.R No.6/2011 registered at Police Station New Fojdari, Shikarpur. It is stated that no harassment has been caused to the petitioner by them.

 The official respondents have also filed their comments, which are taken on record, wherein it has been stated that the F.I.R No.6/2011 was got registered against the private respondents by  the petitioner in which respondents No.3,4,5,7 and 9 have been granted bail by the learned Sessions Judge, Shikarpur whereas respondent No.8 has been arrested and respondent No.6 has not yet been arrested. It is further stated that protection will be provided to the petitioner as per law.

In view of the statement of private respondents as well as assured by police officials, the petitioner does not press the instant petition. However, she requests that she may be provided protection. Accordingly, the instant petition is dismissed as not pressed. However, the official respondents are directed to provide protection to the petitioner as per law.
