            This is an appeal against impugned judgment dated 23.11.2010 passed by the Special Judge for CNS Larkana in Special Narcotics Case No.22 of 2005 in crime No.01/2005 registered at Police Station Excise D.I.O Larkana whereby present appellant has been convicted and sentenced under section 9 (C), Control of Narcotic Substance Act, 1997 to imprisonment for life. He has also been directed to pay fine of Rs.500,000/- (five lacs)  and in case of non payment of fine he is further required to undergo S.I. for six months more.

            This being statutory appeal against conviction is admitted to regular hearing. Office is directed to call R & Ps and prepared paper book on State expenses.

            The appellant/accused present in Court states that he is very poor and not in a position to engage a counsel. Mr. Ali Nawaz Ghanghro, Advocate has volunteered his services to the present appellant/accused.

            A fee of Rs.25,000/- is fixed for the learned  counsel who has volunteered his services as per rules. Office is directed to provide copy of paper book, after preparation, to the learned counsel.
