                        Through instant petition, the petitioner claims that the government land, which he has been awarded to him on contract basis for “Mal-Piri”, has been encroached upon by the respondents No. 5 and 6 and the official respondents are not coming forward to remove such encroachment. Learned counsel for respondents No. 2 to 4, states that they are making efforts to remove unauthorized encroachment, however, on account of non cooperation by the area police, such efforts could not be successful. The learned Addl. A.G. states that if the petitioner and respondents No. 2 to 4, approach them, they will provide all legal assistance to remove illegal encroachment, if any on the subject land.

                        On this statement, the learned counsel for the petitioner is satisfied. Accordingly, instant petition is disposed of with directions to the official respondents to take action against the illegal encroachment upon government land as per law.
