            Through instant petition the petitioner claims his appointment in police department as police constable on the basis of son quota. From perusal of the comments filed on behalf of the respondents it appears that the petitioner had never approached before the respondents to seek his appointment on the basis of son quota within two years i.e. prescribed time limit for such purpose.  While confronting such position, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that at least the petitioner may be considered for appointment in police department as police constable whenever such posts are available as per rules. With this statement, the learned State counsel has no objection. The instant petition is disposed of in the above terms.
