                        Through instant petition, the       petitioners sought protection as according to them at the instant of private respondents, the police officials are not providing any protection and there is likelihood that they will be abducted by respondents No.1 and 2. Notices were directed to be issued to the official respondents as well as Additional A.G. The learned Additional A.G has filed comments on behalf of the official respondents in which they have denied all the allegations. The official respondents present state that neither they have caused any harassment to the petitioners nor they intend to do so in future and whenever any legal protection is sought, the same will be provided in accordance with law.

                        Counsel for the petitioners submits that respondent No.2 present in Court is threatening the petitioners to involve them in false cases. On query, the respondent No.2 denies all such allegations and states that he has no concerned with the petitioners nor he will cause any harassment to them on any account.

                        In view of hereinabove facts, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the official respondents to provide legal protection to the petitioners in accordance with law whenever the same is solicited.
