Through this petition the Petitioners seek quashment of Crime No.38 of 2010,         U/s 365-B, 34 PPC of Police Station Pangrio.

The Petitioners No.3 and 4 present in person state in presence of their parents that they being sui juris by exercising their right of free will have married Petitioners No.1 & 2. They have categorically stated that they have not been abducted by any one and since they have married Petitioners No.1 & 2 by exercising their right of free will which has caused annoyance to their father, who has lodged false FIR. Certificates of age in consequence to the order of this Court have been placed on record, which reflect the ages of Petitioners as 18.

            The I.O present states that in view of the statements of the Petitioners the Crime No.38 of 2010 cannot be successfully prosecuted.

            Learned Assistant A.G does not support the FIR and states that in view of the statements of the Petitioners no fruitful proceedings in Crime No.38 of 2010 can take place.

In the circumstances, proceedings emanating from Crime No.38 of 2010 of P.S Pangrio are hereby quashed. 

            The petition along with listed application stands disposed of in the above terms.
