          DIG, East, CCP, Karachi has submitted his report.  Report has also been filed by SP Gulshan-e-Iqbal, East Zone, CCP, Karachi and SHO PS, Bahadurabad Karachi. The reports are taken on record.

          Mr. Shaukat Hayat, advocate has filed power on behalf of respondents 6 to 9, which is also taken on record.

          During the hearing of the case the DIG East, on the basis of information supplied by ASI Faisal, IO of Crime No.232/10 of Police Station Ferozabad,  submitted that on the date when this petition was filed and it was fixed before the Court i.e. 3.3.2010, all the alleged detenus were present in Court alongwith the petitioner and while the petition was being heard the alleged detenus were standing outside the Court.  He submits that Close Circuit TV (CCTV) cameras of the Court have captured the pictures of the alleged detenus in Court premises on 3.3.2010.  He also submits that none of the detenue is in custody of the police.

The learned A.A.G.Sindh, the DIG East, CCP, Karachi, counsel for the petitioner and the petitioner are directed to examine the CCTV footage of the Court cameras of 3.3.2010.  thereafter, the DIG will submit his report in respect thereof.  Such exercise be carried out today.  The Registrar of this Court is directed to supervise such examination of the CCTV footage by the above persons and also to submit his own report in respect of the same.

Adjourned to 8.3.2010 at 11-00 a.m. when the reports as noted above will made available to this Court.

Reader of this Court is directed to send a copy of this Order to the Registrar for immediate compliance.
