            Applicant/accused Shafiq Ahmed Kalwar son of Shabbir Ahmed and Rafiq AHmed son of Shabbir Ahmed, seek protective bail in FIR No.40/2025, registered at P.S. FIA, CCRC, Karachi, for offence under sections 420, 109, PPC. Learned counsel for applicant submits that applicants are not nominated in the FIR but they came to know blocking of their bank accounts in the subject FIR. He further submits that applicants have received call up notice dated 05.05.2025 for their appearance before the IO of aforesaid FIR; that applicants/accused are law abiding citizens and intend to surrender before learned trial Court concerned but they apprehend their arrest at the hands of FIA officials for mala fide reasons in order to humiliate and disgrace them, therefore, they need some protection.

 

Without touching the merits of the case, protective bail is granted to applicants/accused above named, for a period of five (5) days from today, subject to furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) each and P.R bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Applicants/accused are directed to surrender before the trial Court concerned in the aforesaid period and join the investigation/trial forthwith. This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of five days from today or whenever applicants surrender before the trial Court, which one occurs earlier. It is made clear, in case, applicants/accused fail to surrender before the trial Court in the aforesaid period, their bail bonds shall stand automatically forfeited.

 

            The instant criminal bail application is accordingly disposed of.
