4&5.    It is contended by learned counsel that petitioner was earlier granted protective bail by this Court vide order dated 19.1.2010 in Criminal Bail Application No. 71 of 2010 uptil 30^th January, 2010 but as the Presiding Officer of the Special Court, Central Karachi is on leave, consequently, the petitioner cannot approach and obtain orders from that Court. He states that perhaps the Presiding Officer is on leave for another fifteen days. In the circumstances, the petitioner is admitted to further protective bail for a period of 25 days on furnishing surety in the sum of Rs. 100,000/- (Rupees one lac only) and P.R.Bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. This protective bail order will cease to have effect on petitioner’s first appearing before the Special Court or on 25.2.2010, whichever is earlier.

The counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner also seeks quashment. Petitioner may avail the remedy of seeking acquittal from the trial Court in terms of application under section 249-A Cr.P.C. Petition along with listed application stands disposed off.
