            Applicant/accused Akhlaq Ahmed son of Muzaffar Khan seeks protective bail in FIR No.62/2015, registered at P.S. ANF Muhammad Ali Society, Korangi, Karachi for offence under Section 6, 9(c) of the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997. Learned counsel for applicant submits that applicant is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case due to mala fide intentions and ulterior motives; that applicant is not willful absconder but he was unaware about registration of FIR against him; that he is law abiding citizen and intends to surrender before learned trial Court but he feels apprehension of his arrest at the hands of ANF officials in the wake of NBW issued against him by learned trial Court.

 

Without touching the merits of the case, protective bail is granted to  the applicant above named, for a period of three (3) days from today, subject to his furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) and P.R bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Operation of NBW issued against applicant is suspended for three days. Applicant is directed to surrender before the trial Court concerned in the aforesaid period and join the trial forthwith. This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of three days from today or whenever applicant/accused surrenders before the trial Court, which one occurs earlier. It is made clear, in case, applicant fails to surrender before trial Court in the aforesaid period, his bail bond shall stands automatically forfeited.

 

            The instant criminal bail application is accordingly disposed of.
