for petitioner contended that Jail Petition for Leave to Appeal No.508/2022 (Sartaj Khan alias Sarttaja vs. The State)
is pending before the Supreme Court of Pakistan but health condition of Sartaj Khan is critical in Central Prison, Karachi.
Additional Advocate General Sindh and Additional Prosecutor General Sindh,
looking to the urgency in the matter, waive the notice.
After
hearing the learned counsel for the parties, we are of the view that Sartaj Khan requires medical treatment on urgent basis. In
order to save his life, Senior Superintendent, Central Prison, Karachi is
directed to provide medical treatment to Sartaj Khan alias Sartaja, strictly as per
rules.
In the
view of above, counsel for petitioner does not press the instant petition any more, it is accordingly disposed along with listed applications.
