Kashif Latif son of
Muhammad Latif-ur-Rehman, seeks pre-arrest bail in
Crime No.1/2024, registered at P.S. FIA CCC, Karachi for offences under
Sections 23, 27 read with Section 30 of the Drugs Act, 1976. Prior to this
applicant/accused applied for the same relief before learned Judge, Drugs
Court, Sindh at Karachi, the same was dismissed vide order dated 27.04.2024 and
interim pre-arrest bail granted to applicant/accused was recalled. After
hearing the learned advocate for applicant/accused, this bail before arrest
application is converted to protective bail. Office is directed to assign
number accordingly.
Without touching the merits of the
case, protective bail for a period
of five (5) days from today is granted to applicant/accused Kashif Latif son of Muhammad Latif-ur-Rehman, subject to his furnishing
solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) and P.R. bond
in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court.
Applicant/accused is directed to surrender before the concerned trial Court in
the aforesaid. This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of five days from today or whenever the
applicant/accused surrenders before the concerned trial Court which one occurs
earlier. It is made clear that in case applicant/accused fails to surrender
before the concerned trial Court within the aforesaid period, his bail bond
shall stand forfeited.
The instant protective bail
application is accordingly disposed of
