            This constitution petition is filed on behalf of petitioner/accused Muhammad Azeem Qureshi son of Aminuddin Qureshi (late), through his attorney/sister              Mrs. Ayesha Moshin, for seeking protective/transitory bail in FIR No.176/2024, registered at P.S. Malir Cantt. for offence under Sections 489-F, PPC. It is inter alia contended that at present petitioner/accused is at UAE and is prepared to surrender before the trial Court but apprehends his arrest at the hands of police under the influence of complainant Rao Muhammad Khalid Akhtar. It is further submitted that petitioner/accused is scheduled to arrive at JIAP, Karachi on 18.06.2024. Copy e-ticket is annexed to the petition at Pages 27 & 29.

 

 

            Without touching the merits of the case, petitioner/accused Muhammad Azeem Qureshi son of Aminuddin Qureshi (late) is granted protective/transitory bail for a period of seven (7) days from today, subject to furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) and P.R bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial Court in the aforesaid period. This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of seven days from today or whenever the petitioner/accused surrenders before the trial court, which one occurs earlier. In case, petitioner fails to surrender before the trial Court within the aforesaid period, his bail bond shall stand automatically forfeited. Let the copy of this order be sent the Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad by fax for information.

           

            The instant petition is accordingly disposed of.
