protective bail in F.I.R. No.09/2019, registered at P.S. Gulshan-e-Maymar, Karachi under sections 147/148/149/341/124A/153A/504/505,
PPC read with section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997.
It is
inter alia contended that allegation against the applicants/accused is that
they protested against the abduction of the persons of their community. Serious
mala fide on the part of police has been alleged. It is further stated that the
applicants/accused are prepared to surrender before the trial Court but
apprehend their arrest with ulterior motive at the hands of police on the way
to the trial Court.
Without
touching the merits of the case, protective bail for a period of four (4) days from
today is granted to the above named applicants/accused, subject to their furnishing
solvent surety in the sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees thirty thousand) each,
and P.R. bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of
this Court. Applicants/accused are directed to surrender before the learned
Judge, Anti-Terrorism Court-II, Karachi in the aforesaid period. This order
shall cease to have its effect after expiry of 04 days from today or whenever
the applicants/accused surrender before the trial Court, which one occurs
earlier. It is made clear that in case applicants/accused failed to surrender
before the trial Court within the aforesaid period their bail bond shall stand
forfeited.
Application is accordingly disposed
of.
