Mir Rehman son
of Awal Gul seeks
protective bail in FIR No.420/2024, registered
at P.S. Surjani Town, Karachi for offence under
Sections 384/385/337-H(2)/34, PPC, read with section 7 of Anti-Terrorism Act,
1997. It is submitted that at present case is pending before learned
Anti-Terrorism Court-XVIII, Karachi, and NBW has been issued against the applicant/accused.
It is further submitted that the applicant/accused is prepared to surrender
before trial Court but apprehends his arrest at the hands of police for
ulterior motives. Serious mala fide has been alleged against the police.
Without touching the merits of the case, protective bail is granted to applicant/accused
Mir Rehman son
of Awal Gul for a period of
seven (07) days from today, subject
to furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/-
(Rupees fifty thousand) and P.R
bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Operation
of NBW issued against the applicant/accused is suspended for seven days. Applicant/accused
is directed to surrender before the trial Court in the aforesaid period. This
order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of seven days from today or
whenever the applicant/accused surrenders before the trial Court, which one
occurs earlier. It is made clear, in case, applicant/accused fails to surrender
before the trial Court in the aforesaid period, his bail bond shall stands
automatically forfeited.
The instant
criminal bail application is accordingly disposed
of.
