is received from learned Administrative Judge, Anti-Terrorism Courts, Karachi, which reflects that the trial Court/Anti-Terrorism
Court-XII, Karachi, is lying vacant since 12.05.2024. However, counsel
appearing for applicant/accused submits that substantial progress has been made
in the trial. Since, expeditious disposal is the right of the applicant/accused
as provided under the provisions of Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997, Special Case
No.462/2022 is withdrawn from the file of Anti-Terrorism Court-XII with
direction to the learned Administrative Judge, Anti-Terrorism Courts, Karachi
to transfer the said case to some other Court, with direction to decide the
same within two months under intimation to this Court.
In the
view of above, counsel for applicant, does not press the instant criminal bail
application, the same is dismissed as not pressed. Let the copy of this order
be sent to learned Administrative Judge,
Anti-Terrorism Courts, Karachi Division, by fax for compliance.
