Mr. Tanveerul Islam, advocate a/w applicant/accused

            --------------------------------------

Applicant/accused Zeeshan son of Abdul Qayyum, seeks protective bail in FIR No.449/2022, registered at P.S. Bilal Colony, District Central Karachi, for offences under sections 365-A/34, PPC read with Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997. It is inter alia contended that applicant/accused has been shown as absconder in the final report and NBW has been issued against him by learned Anti-Terrorism Court-XV, Karachi. It is further contended that the applicant/accused is prepared to surrender before the trial Court but he apprehends his arrest at the hands of police under the influence of complainant for mala fide reasons.

Since the applicant/accused wishes to surrender before the trial Court, without touching the merits of the case, protective bail is granted to applicant/accused Zeeshan son of Abdul Qayyum, for a period of five (05) days from today, subject to furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand) and P.R bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Operation of NBW issued against the applicant/accused by the trial Court is suspended for five days. Applicant/accused is directed to surrender before the trial Court in the aforesaid period. This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of five days from today or whenever the applicant/accused surrenders before the trial Court, which one occurs earlier. It is made clear, in case, applicant/accused fails to surrender before the trial Court in the aforesaid period, his bail bond shall stands automatically forfeited.

The instant criminal bail application is accordingly disposed of.
