Farheen Sadia Waseem wife of Waseem Ayub Bhatti, seeks protective
bail in FIR No.16/2022, registered
at P.S. FIA Commercial Bank Circle, Karachi for offences under Sections, 409,
419, 420, 467, 468, 477-A, 109, PPC read with Section 3 and 4 of the Anti-Money
Laundering Act, 2010. It is inter alia
contended that applicant/accused is prepared to surrender before the trial
Court but she apprehends her imminent arrest at the hands of FIA officials for
mala fide reasons.
Since the applicant/accused wishes to surrender herself
before the trial Court concerned, without touching the merits of the case, protective bail is granted to applicant/accused
Farheen Sadia Waseem wife of Waseem Ayub Bhatti for a period of five (05) days from today, subject to her
furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.40,000/- (Rupees Forty thousand)
and P.R bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court.
Applicant/accused is directed to surrender before the trial Court in the
aforesaid period. This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of five
days from today or whenever the applicant/accused surrenders before the trial
Court, which one occurs earlier. It is made clear, in case, applicant/accused fails
to surrender before the trial Court in the aforesaid period, her bail bond
shall stands automatically forfeited.
The instant
criminal bail application is accordingly disposed
of.
