Counsel for the petitioner through
instant Constitution Petition under Article 199 of the Constitution seeks
quashment of FIR bearing Crime No. 320/2023 for offences under Sections 384/ 385/
468/ 471/ 511/ 506-B PPC read with Section 7 of ATA 1997 registered at P.S
Manghopir, Karachi. Counsel for the petitioner on query informed the Court that
final report has already been submitted before trial Court. Therefore, he does
not press petition and submits that he would approach trial Court in the first
instance for seeking premature acquittal.
In the view of above, petition is
dismissed as not pressed. However, petitioner/accused would be at liberty to
approach trial Court. Trial Court shall pass appropriate orders on the
application, if submitted by the petitioner.
