Through this Constitution petition,
petitioner seeks particulars of the inquiries/investigations and References
initiated against the petitioner by the NAB all over the country. NAB has
provided the particulars of the inquiries/investigations and References pending
against the petitioner. Counsel for the petitioner after going through the
details provided by the NAB submitted that protective bail may be granted to
the petitioner in the following inquiries/investigations:

Counsel for the petitioner alleges
serious malafide on the part of the NAB.
We have heard learned counsel for
the petitioner as well as learned Special Prosecutor NAB.
Without touching the merits of the
case, protective bail for a period
of ten (10) days from today is granted to petitioner Shahzad Jatoi son of Sikandar Ali Jatoi in the aforesaid inquiries/investigations,
subject to furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.100,000/-
(Rupees One Lac) each and P.R. bond
in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Petitioner is
directed to surrender before the learned Administrative Judge, Accountability Courts
concerned in the aforesaid period. This order shall cease to have its effect
after expiry of ten days from today
or when the petitioner surrenders before the concerned trial Courts, which one
occurs earlier. It is made clear that in case petitioner fails to surrender
before the concerned trial Courts within the aforesaid period, his bail bond
shall stand forfeited.
Needless to mention here that NAB
shall supply copy of investigation/Reference to the petitioner as provided in law.
NAB is further directed to act in accordance with law.
Petition is disposed of in the above
terms.
