Applicant/accused
Usama Shafqat seeks protective/transitory bail in Crime No. C/09/2023, for
offences under sections 109 PPC, 3/4 AML 2010 (amended 2020) registered at PS
FIA/AML Faisalabad, Punjab. It is contended that the applicant/accused is prepared
to surrender before the trial Court at Faisalabad but apprehends his arrest at
the hands of FIA officials. Serious malafide on the part of the FIA officials has
been alleged.
Without
touching merits of the case, applicant/accused Usama Shafqat is granted protective/transitory bail for a period
of six (06) days from today, subject
to his furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/-
(Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) and P.R. bond in the like amount to the
satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Applicant/accused is directed to
surrender before the concerned trial Court at Faisalabad, Punjab, in the
aforesaid crime/case. This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of
(06) days from today or when the applicant/accused
surrenders before the concerned trial Court which one occurs earlier. It is
made clear that in case applicant/accused fails to surrender before the
concerned trial Court within the aforesaid period his bail bond shall stand
forfeited automatically.
Instant
bail application is accordingly disposed of.
