Applicant/accused Sohail Asghar Virk son of
Asghar Ali Virk seeks protective/transitory bail in Crime No. 3558/2023
registered at PS Factory Area, District Sheikhupura, Punjab
for offences u/s 302/109/324/440/148/149 PPC read with Anti-Terrorism Act 1997.
It is inter-alia contended that applicant/accused is prepared to surrender
before trial court at Punjab, but apprehends his arrest at the hands of the
police for malafide reasons.
Without
touching merits of the case, applicant/accused Sohail Asghar Virk son of Asghar
Ali Virk is granted protective/transitory
bail for a period of five (05) days
from today, subject to his furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.100,000/- (Rupees One Lac Only) and P.R. bond in the like
amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Applicant/accused is
directed to surrender before the concerned trial Court at Punjab, in the aforesaid
crime/case. This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of (05) days from today or when the applicant/accused
surrenders before the concerned trial Court which one occurs earlier. It is
made clear that in case applicant/accused fails to surrender before the
concerned trial Court within the aforesaid period his bail bond shall stand
forfeited automatically.
Instant
bail application is accordingly disposed of.
