Gul Malik son of Ali Hyder is
present along with his counsel. He seeks protective bail in FIR No.93/2024, registered at P.S. SSGC
Central, Karachi for offence under sections 15, 17, 24 of the Gas Theft Control
and Recovery Act, 2016. It is inter alia
contended that no tampering in the gas meter was made by the applicant/accused and
he has been falsely implicated in this case by SSGC Employees for mala fide
reasons. Serious mala fides on the part of SSGC Employees have been alleged.
Without touching the merits of the case, protective bail is granted to
applicant/accused Gul Malik son of Ali Hyder,
for a period of four (4) days from
today, subject to furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand)
and P.R bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court.
Applicant/accused is directed to surrender before the trial Court in the
aforesaid period and join the investigation forthwith. This order shall cease
to have its effect after expiry of four days from today or whenever applicant/accused
surrenders before the trial Court, which one occurs earlier. It is made clear,
in case, applicant/accused fails to surrender before the trial Court in the
aforesaid period, his bail bond shall stands automatically forfeited.
The instant
criminal bail application is accordingly disposed
of.
