Jahan wife of Muhammad Majid seeks protective bail in FIR No.410/2023, registered at P.S. City Joharabad,
District Khushab, Punjab, for offence under section
506, PPC read with Section 25-D of the Telegraph Act, 1885. It is inter alia contended that applicant/accused
is prepared to surrender before the trial Court concerned in the Province of
Punjab but she apprehends her arrest at the hands of police of Punjab Province.
Serious mala fides on the part of police and complainant have been alleged.
Without touching the merits of the case, protective bail is granted to
applicant/accused Bisma Naureen/Ameer Jahan wife of Muhammad Majid, for
a period of eight (8) days from
today, subject to furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) and P.R bond in the like amount to the
satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Applicant/accused is directed to
surrender before the trial Court concerned in the aforesaid period. This order
shall cease to have its effect after expiry of eight days from today or whenever
applicant/accused surrenders before the trial Court concerned, which one occurs
earlier. It is made clear, in case, applicant/accused fails to surrender before
the trial Court in the aforesaid period, her bail bond shall stands automatically
forfeited.
The instant
criminal bail application is accordingly disposed
of.
