of Syed Sarwar Ali and Farhan Saleem son of Muhammad Saleem seek protective bail in FIR No.31/2024, registered at P.S. Frere Karachi, for offences
under Sections 109, 147, 148, 149, 186, 342, 353, 324, 337-A(i), 395, 427 PPC
read with section 7 Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997. It is inter alia contended that the applicants are innocent; they are prepared
to surrender before the trial Court but apprehend their arrest at the hands of
police with ulterior motive.
Without touching the merits of the case, protective bail is granted to applicants/accused
Muhammad Riaz Haider son of Ghulam Haider Bugti, Saif Bari son of Muhammad Abdul Bari, Arsalan Khalid son of Khalid Yaseen, Sheraz Ahmed Nagani son
of Haji Ahmed, Syed Faisal Ali son
of Syed Sarwar Ali and Farhan Saleem son of Muhammad Saleem for a
period of six (06) days from today,
subject to furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand)
each and P.R bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this
Court. Applicants/accused are directed to surrender
before the trial Court/learned Administrative Judge, Anti-Terrorism Courts,
Karachi in the aforesaid period. This order shall cease to have its effect
after expiry of six days (06) days from today or whenever the applicants/accused
surrender before the trial Court, which one occurs earlier.
The instant
criminal bail application is accordingly disposed
of.
