Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that through order dated 27.6.2005 passed in Constitutional Petition No.D-616 of 2005 interim pre-arrest bail granted to the petitioner was confirmed by a Division Bench of this Court and that the Reference No. 10/2005 in the Accountability Court-I Sindh, Karachi was disposed off under the NRO and that in the face of order passed by Hon’ble Supreme Court on 16.12.2009 the proceeding before the Accountability Court is going to revive against the petitioner and he apprehends his arrest. Petitioner’s counsel requests that pre-arrest bail may be granted to the petitioner.

Without touching the merits of the case, the petitioner is granted interim pre arrest bail on his furnishing surety in the sum of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees five lac only) and P.R.Bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court.

Issue notice to D.P.G.NAB for next date. To come up on 05.01.2010 for confirmation or otherwise.
