Muhammad Samor seeks protective bail in FIR No.31/2024, registered at P.S. Frere
Karachi, for offences under Sections 109, 147, 148, 149, 186, 342, 353, 324,
337-A(i), 395, 427 PPC read with section 7 Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997. It is inter alia contended that the applicant
is innocent; he is an advocate by profession; he is prepared to surrender before
the trial Court but apprehends his arrest at the hands of police with ulterior
motive. Serious mala fides on the part of police have been alleged.
Without touching the merits of the case, protective bail is granted to applicant/accused
Fayaz Ahmed son of Ghulam
Muhammad Samor
for a period of six (06) days
from today, subject to his furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand) and P.R
bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Applicant/accused
is directed to surrender before the learned Administrative Judge,
Anti-Terrorism Courts, Karachi in the aforesaid
period. This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of six days (06)
days from today or whenever the applicant/accused surrenders before learned
Administrative Judge, Anti-Terrorism Courts, Karachi, which one occurs earlier.
The instant
criminal bail application is accordingly disposed
of.
