Syed Ahmed Shah son of Muhammad
Ismail seeks protective bail in FIR No.615/2023, registered at P.S. Gulshan-e-Maymar, for offences
under Sections 147, 148, 149, 353, 324, 302, 186, 447, 427, PPC read with
Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997. It is inter alia contended that the
applicant/accused is prepared to surrender before the trial Court in the
aforesaid crime but apprehends his arrest at the hands of police with ulterior
motives. Serious mala fides on the part of complainant and police have been
alleged.
Without touching the merits of the case, protective bail is granted to applicant/accused
Syed Ahmed Shah son of Muhammad
Ismail for a period of three (03) days
from today, subject to his furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) and P.R bond
in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Applicant/accused
is directed to surrender before learned Administrative Judge, Anti-Terrorism
Courts, Karachi in the aforesaid period and join the
investigation forthwith. This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry
of three days (03) days from today or whenever the applicant/accused surrenders
before the concerned trial court, which one occurs earlier.
The instant
petition is accordingly disposed of.
