Ahmed Jumani seek protective bail in Crime No.78/2024 for offences under
Sections 324/114/147/148/149/337H(ii)
PPC read with Section 7 of Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997, registered at P.S Moro, District Naushahro Feroze. It is inter alia
contended that applicants are workers of co-accused Ghulam
Murtaza Khan Jatoi, who was
contesting candidate of NA 206 Naushaho Feroze-II and incident had occurred on the day of polls.
Serious mala fide on the part of police and complainant has been alleged on
political consideration. Political victimization has also been claimed by the
applicants/accused. It is further submitted that applicants are prepared to
surrender before the trial Court/Anti-Terrorism Court Naushahro
Feroze but said Court is cordoned off by the police
with ulterior motives.
Without
touching the merits of the case, protective
bail for a period of eight (08) days
from today is granted to applicants/accused Muhammad Atique son of Raheem Bux, Muhammad Hassan
son of Abdul Aziz, Muhammad Hassan Jatoi son of Ghulam Muhammad,
Faiz Muhammad alias Asif
son of Muhammad Iqbal Rahoojo,
Imran Dost Khan son of Muhammad Suleman Chand and Rizwan Ahmed alias
Dodo son of Bakhshal Ahmed Jumani, subject to their furnishing solvent surety in the sum
of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand)
each and P.R. bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this
Court. Applicants/accused are directed to surrender
before the concerned trial Court in the aforesaid crime and join the investigation.
This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of eight days from today or whenever the applicants/accused surrender
before the concerned trial Court, which one occurs earlier. It is made clear
that in case applicants/accused fail to surrender before the concerned trial
Court within the aforesaid period their bail bond shall stand forfeited.
Bail Application is accordingly
disposed of.
