1.         Urgent application is allowed.

 

2.         Overruled.

3.         Exemption application is granted subject to all just legal exceptions.

 

4.         Applicants/accused seek protective bail in Complaint No. 10 of 2015 pending against the applicants/accused before the Learned Judge, Banking Court (Offences in respect of Banks) Lahore. It is inter-alia contended that applicants/accused are serving in National Bank of Pakistan at Karachi and complaint has been lodged at Lahore by one Shaukat Ali ex-employee of the Bank to cause harassment to the applicants/accused. It is further contended that applicants/accused are prepared to surrender before the concerned Court but apprehend their arrest at the hands of FIA.

           

            Without touching the merits of the case, protective bail for a period of five (05) days from today is granted to applicants/accused Zaheer Baig and Muhammad Amin Qazi, subject to their furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.700,000/- (Rupees Seven Lacs) each and P.R. bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Applicants/accused are directed to surrender before the concerned Court in the aforesaid period. This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of five (05) days from today or whenever the applicants/accused surrender before the concerned Court, which one occurs earlier. It is made clear that in case applicants/accused failed to surrender before the concerned Court within the aforesaid period, their bail bond shall stand forfeited.

 

            Application is accordingly disposed of.
