Applicants/accused
Mohammad Hassan Saihto, Syed Kamal Hussain Shah Bukhari and Majid Akhtar are
present along with their counsel and seek protective bail in FIR No. 145/2017
for offence under Sections 119/130/201/222 PPC read with Section 7
Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 & 9 CNS Act, registered at Police Station C.T.D. It
is inter-alia contended that applicants/accused are prepared to surrender
before the Trial Court, but apprehend their arrest at the hands of police with
the malafide reasons.
Without
touching merits of the case, protective
bail for a period of 05 days is
granted to the applicants/accused Mohammad Hassan Saihto, Syed Kamal Hussain
Shah Bukhari and Majid Akhtar, subject to their furnishing solvent surety in
the sum of Rs.150,000/- (Rupees One Lac & Fifty Thousand) each and P.R bond
in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Applicants/accused
shall surrender before the learned Judge, Anti-Terrorism Court No.I, Karachi,
in the aforesaid period. This order shall cease to have effect after expiry of 05 days or whenever the applicants/accused
surrender before the concerned Court, whichever is earlier. In case, applicants/accused
fail to surrender before the Trial Court within the stipulated period, their bail
bonds shall stand forfeited automatically.
The instant Criminal Bail
Application No. 1559 of 2017 stands disposed of.
