Applicant/accused
Abdul Rehman son of Shireendil Khan and Shamim Ahmed son of Ibrhaim Khan seek
protective bail in FIR No. 449/2017 for offences under Sections
384-385-506-504-34 PPC read with Section 25-D Telegraph Act, registered at
Police Station Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.
It is inter-alia
contended that applicants/accused are prepared to surrendered before the
learned A.T.C. Court but apprehend their arrest at the hands of the police for
malafide reasons. It is further submitted that if the protective bail is not granted
to the applicants, they shall be humiliated at the hands of the police.
Without
touching merits of the case, protective
bail for a period of 05 days is
granted to the applicants/accused, subject to their furnishing solvent surety
in the sum of Rs.100,000/- (Rupees One Lacs only) each and P.R bond in the like
amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Applicant/accused shall
surrender before the learned Judge, Anti-Terrorism Court No.I, Karachi in the
aforesaid period. This order shall cease to have effect after expiry of 05 days or whenever the applicants/accused
surrender before the concerned Court. In case, applicants/accused fail to
surrender before the Trial Court within the stipulated period, their bail bond
shall stand forfeited automatically.
The
instant Bail Application stands disposed of.
