Applicants/accused
(1) Mohammad Baseerat Ali and (2)
Mohammad Bukhtiar Ali Farooqui seek protective bail in FIR No.507/2017 for offences
under Sections 496(A)/337-A(1)/506-B/342/386/34 PPC, registered at P.S
Shahrah-e-Faisal. It is contended that police has added Section 7
Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 malafidely.
Applicants/accused are prepared to surrender before the trial Court, but
apprehend their arrest at the hands of the police with ulterior motive.
Without
touching merits of the case, protective
bail for a period of 03 days is
granted to the applicants/accused (1) Mohammad Baseerat Ali and (2) Mohammad
Bukhtiar Ali Farooqui, subject to their furnishing solvent surety in the sum of
Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) each and P.R bond in the like amount to the
satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Applicants/accused shall surrender
before the learned Judge, Anti-Terrorism Court No.I, Karachi, in the aforesaid
period. This order shall cease to have effect after expiry of 03 days or whenever the applicants/accused
surrender before the concerned Court. In case, applicants/accused fail to
surrender before the Trial Court within the stipulated period, their bail bonds
shall stand forfeited automatically.
The
instant Bail Application stands disposed of.
