Muhammad Riaz son of Saleh
Muhammad seeks protective bail in FIR
No.127/2024, registered at P.S. Korangi Industrial
Area, Karachi for offences under Sections 395, 324, 353, 427, 186, 147, 148,
149, PPC read with Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997. It is inter alia contended that the applicant/accused is
prepared to surrender before the concerned trial Court/learned Judge,
Anti-Terrorism Court, Karachi but apprehends his arrest as NBW has been issued
against him. Serious mala fide on the part of complainant and police has been
alleged.
Without
touching the merits of the case, applicant/accused Muhammad Riaz
son of Saleh Muhammad is granted protective bail for a period of four (4) days from today, subject to furnishing solvent surety in
the sum of Rs.50,000/-
(Rupees One Hundred Thousand) and P.R
bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Applicant/accused
is directed to surrender before the trial Court in the aforesaid period. In the
meanwhile, operation of NWB issued against the applicant/accused is suspended. This
order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of four days from today or
whenever the applicant/accused surrenders before the trial court, which one
occurs earlier. In case, applicant/accused fails to surrender before the trial
Court within the aforesaid period, his bail bond shall stand automatically forfeited.
The instant criminal bail
application is accordingly disposed of.
