Applicants/accused
Zubair Ahmed, Sameer and Abid Ali seek pre-arrest bail in Crime No. 156/2019
registered at P.S Sharafi Goth for offences under sections 353/324/186/34 PPC
read with Section 7 Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997. Counsel for the
applicants/accused after arguing the pre-arrest bail at some length, submits
that this bail before arrest application may be converted to protective bail.
Orders accordingly. Counsel for the applicants/accused submits that
applicants/accused are prepared to surrender before the trial Court but
apprehend their arrest at the hands of the police for malafide reasons. He has
submitted that police has conducted raids at the houses of the
applicants/accused.
Without touching merits of the case, protective bail for a period of 05 days is granted to the applicants/accused
Zubair Ahmed, Sameer and Abid Ali, subject to their furnishing solvent surety
in the sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty
Thousand) each and P.R bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the
Nazir of this Court. Applicants/accused shall surrender before the learned
Judge, Anti-Terrorism Court No. I, Karachi in the aforesaid period. This order shall
cease to have effect after expiry of 05
days or whenever the applicants/accused surrender before the concerned
Court. In case, applicants/accused fail to surrender before the Trial Court
within the stipulated period, their bail bonds shall stand forfeited
automatically.
The
instant Bail Application stands disposed of.
