Majid Ali son of Moharram
Ali seeks protective bail in FIR No.09/2024,
registered at P.S. FIA, AML/CFT Circle, Karachi for offences under Sections
3, 4 of the Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2010 (Amended 2020). It is inter alia contended that the petitioner
is prepared to surrender before the trial Court (Court of Sessions South Karachi) but the said Court is cordoned
off by the FIA officials. Serious mala fide on the part of FIA officials has
been alleged.
Since the petitioner is prepared to surrender before the
trial Court, without touching the merits of the case, protective bail is granted to petitioner Majid Ali son of Moharram Ali for a period of four (04) days from today, subject to
furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand)
and P.R bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court.
Petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial Court in the aforesaid
period and join the investigation forthwith. This order shall cease to have its
effect after expiry of four days from today or whenever the petitioner surrenders
before the trial Court, which one occurs earlier. It is made clear, in case,
petitioner fails to surrender before the trial Court in the aforesaid period,
his bail bond shall stands automatically forfeited.
The instant
constitution petition is accordingly disposed
of.
