Applicant/accused Muhammad Zakir Khan seeks protective bail in Crime No.05/2021 for
offences punishable under Sections 9(c), 14, 15 of CNS Act 1997 registered at
PS ANF Muhammad Ali Society, Karachi. It is inter-alia contended that applicant/accused
was not aware about the pendency of the case against him. Serious malafide on the part of ANF Officials is alleged.
Since applicant/accused is prepared to
surrender before the trial court, without touching merits of the case, applicant/accused
Muhammad Zakir Khan son of Sir Buland
Khan is granted protective bail for
a period of five (05) days from
today, subject to his furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/-
(Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) and P.R. bond in the like amount to the
satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Applicant/accused
is directed to surrender before the concerned trial Court in the aforesaid
crime/case. This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of (05) days from today or when the applicant/accused
surrenders before the concerned trial Court, which one occurs earlier. It is
made clear that in case applicant/accused fails to surrender before the
concerned trial Court within the aforesaid period his bail bond shall stand
forfeited automatically.
Instant bail application is accordingly
disposed of.
