Applicant/accused
is present on interim pre-arrest bail. Counsel for applicant/accused submits at
bar that applicant/accused Muhammad Rufi Siddiqui has been acquitted by the trial Court by means of
compromise and does not press the instant criminal bail application. In view of
such position, instant criminal bail application is dismissed as having become
infructuous. So far as the surety is concerned, after hearing learned
Additional Prosecutor General Sindh Nazir is directed to return the surety
amount to the applicant/accused after proper verification and identification,
as per rules.
