Learned advocate for applicant/accused pointed out that
evidence of two prosecution witnesses has been recorded by the trial Court and
the trial is in progress. Counsel for applicant/accused submits that he would
not press the instant bail application in case directions are issued to the
trial Court for expeditious disposal of the case. Learned D.P.G. has recorded
no objection for issuance of such directions.
In the view of above, instant criminal bail application
is dismissed as not pressed. However, trial Court is directed to decide the
case expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months, under intimation
to this Court.
