Petitioner/accused Muhammad Rashid has filed this
Constitution Petition for seeking direction to the trial Court for expeditious
disposal of the case pending before learned II-Additional Sessions Judge,
Karachi West. Report was called from the trial Court, in which it is mentioned
that there is substantial progress in the trial. Now the case is fixed before
trial Court on 20.01.2024. Addl. P.G waives notice and undertakes that
prosecution witnesses shall be produced before the trial Court on 20.01.2024.
Such directions are also issued to the I.O. Trial Court is directed to decide
the case expeditiously.
The instant
petition is disposed of in the above terms.
